Wednesday of Holy Week

The children continue to enjoy new materials
from the easel to the unifix cubes to the rocks and keys with the magna tiles.

Roll the dice, count the dots, connect that many unifix cubes.

Her completed picture! Who is next in line?

An amazing structure with rocks and cubes

Exploring the resurrection eggs. Trying to remember what is inside them

Now the unifix cubes are made into a very long snake with a cubed head.

Everyone working hard cleaning up

Watching while two other preschool classes have their egg hunt.
Our turn will be after center time.

Talking about the resurrection eggs and opening three more.
We have one more to open when we return from Easter break.

Recording the children's descriptions about their cross.
A wonderful document for their portfolio

Another snake!

Listening to Mrs. Haun give direction for the egg hunt

GO!

GO! The second time

Tuesday of Holy Week

Highlights of Today
(Some picture memories; Some just in our hearts)
Continuing to enjoy creating at our new easel

Stringing beads - they will be attached to sticks and hung in our windows
"How long do you want the string?"
"As long as my arm, please."
Cutting the string

Working hard adding beads

Taking turns at the new easel means
we need to make a list showing who is next and then wait our turn.

Our teacher assistant dismissing children to line up

They are so strong!

What great work!

Running with friends

After Mrs. Lohman cleaned her dirty shoes, we cleaned our shoes.
We are reminded that Jesus washes away all of our dirty sins.
So fun to play with everyday!

Sometimes if you have a problem,
all you need to do is sit toe to toe and your problems just go away.
And that is what "proud of my work" looks like.

We also opened four more resurrection eggs. The symbols in these eggs reminded us that Jesus got a lot of owies. We know that this happened, because He loves us so much.

We read "What is Easter?" by Lillie James. On the last day the grandpa prays before the family Easter dinner. We were inspired to share many prayers together.
