We had a BEARY FUN day with ours bears at school today!
Our morning message today announced that we had chapel and a special bear show and tell!
We had a very exciting chapel today. Jerry the puppet came and visited! He shared with us and Pastor Rouland his very cool design on his shirt. The design was a cross with bandaids. Jerry went on to share that Jesus died on the cross for us and that is the most special healing/ gift we will ever receive.
Before snack we read books to our bears!
At circle we had a beary special show and tell. We shared our bear/stuffed animal's name, age and why we love him/her!
At centers we conducted bear exploration! We measured our bear, determined if he was big or small, had short or long fur and weighed our bear. We will continue bear exploration tomorrow so please make sure your child's bear/ stuffed animal comes back for one more BEARY fun day!
Feeding our bears porridge like in Goldilocks and the Three Bears. We used papa, mama and baby bear's utensils.
We also completed an "I love my Bear" page at centers and discussed why our bear is so special and loved.
