Having fun with one another at morning free play!
Our morning message announced that we were going to be making Mat Man today for the month of March!
Calendar helper leading us in counting the 7 days of March!
Our meteorologist predicted a rainy morning and sunny afternoon!
At circle we sang the mat man song before building our class mat man!
Mat man has one head.....
Mat man has one nose...
Mat man has one mouth...
Mat man has two ears...
Mat man has one body....
After we listened to the song we used lines and curves to build our class mat man.
After working together to build mat man it was time to draw our own!
The boys and girls did a great job drawing mat man step by step using big/little lines and big/little curves!
At Jesus time we learned about Jesus healing the ten lepers and how only one man returned to thank Jesus. Zippy was very sad when he heard this bible story because he forgot to thank Jesus for healing his ouchie on his forehead. We told Zippy that we can always thank Jesus though prayer and that it is never too late! We all prayed to Jesus and thanked him for healing Zippy and us when we are hurt or injured.
