Dinosaurs: Wednesday

Today we made dinosaurs using lines, curves and paper towel and toilet paper rolls.

Sorting the uppercase and lowercase Dd dinosaurs.

Alphabet helper leading us in singing.

Our morning message today said, "Today is Joslyn's Birthday!"

Enjoying the beautiful day outside with friends! The weather was awesome: )

Happy Birthday, Friend! Thank you for the yummy birthday treats :)

Today at circle we talked about where dinosaurs live, what they eat and how they are extinct. We then had fun making dinosaur sounds on the smart board. After making the different dinosaur roars we created a class dinosaur together. We named the dinosaur, decided how old he was and also identified where he lived and what he ate.
Here is the link to listen to the different dinosaur sounds.

Listen to the dinosaur sounds with your child. Have a conversation about the sounds. Ask your child if the sounds are similar, differ, etc..

Check out our class dinosaur. His name is Roar. He is 100 years old. He is a carnivore that likes to eat chicken, fish and birds. He lives by a volcano.
At centers we started creating our own dinosaurs. And at the very end we used the dinosaur roars on the smart board to pick a roar for our dino. Check out some of our friends dinosaurs and their roars!

At Jesus time we closed our eyes and imagined Jesus welcoming us like he welcomed the children in our bible story!
