Today we were so excited to have a post office in dramatic play!
We pretended to deliver boxes and valentines!
Our morning message said we were going to be talking about the post office this week!
Our calendar helper introduced the month of February and shared that today was February 1st.
Our meteorologist predicted a semi cloudy day!
Outside Fun!
We painted a box to use in our post office for the week.
We will vote tomorrow to decided if we want to use it as a mail box or mail truck.
We had a mail sort at circle time with our names on envelopes. We sorted the envelopes by the first letters in our fist and last names.
My friend was very excited to share the new play dough he made for the class today! Thank you Elijah and family: )
We also worked on our scissor skills while cutting paper strips!
At Jesus time Zippy came to visit with a bowl of marshmallows. He was selfish when he first walked in the room and didn't want to share. This made us all very sad but after some convincing from the class Zippy realized that God wants us to share. We forgave Zippy for being selfish, We went on to talk about the parable of the lost son and how his father forgave him for being selfish too. We discussed how God forgives us daily even though we don't deserve it because he loves us.
