Post Office: Friday

Playing nicely during morning free play!

Our morning message said, "We are going to learn what happens at the post office when you mail a letter today!"
Our letter sounds helper leading us in singing the Abc's and letter sounds song!

Outside Fun on the Big Kid Playground!

At circle we watched what happens at the post office after you mail a letter!
We also finally voted on if the box we painted earlier in the week should be a mail box or mail truck.
The vote was unanimous every friend wanted it to be a mail truck so we pretended to drive a mail truck and deliver mail to someone special.
Kiera and Brendan pretended to deliver mail to their cousins.

Peyton delivered her mail to her house.
Andrew and Jonah  delivered mail to their grandmas!

Conner delivered mail to his brother.
Delaney delivered mail to her mappy( grandma).
Elijah delivered mail to his sister.

My friend had something to share with his friends after circle. He wanted to show the smooth rocks he found outside yesterday.

We painted valentine heart prints at centers!

We also started our February interviews today!

At Jesus time we all took turns telling the different parts of the Lost Son parable.
A father had two sons. One son was selfish and wanted money from his father.
When the son received his money he left his father and brother to go to a far away country.

The son spent all his money by being wasteful. He had no money for food or clothes. He had to get a job feeding pigs.
The son decided to return home in hopes that his father would forgive him. His father loved his son so much he forgave him even though he didn't deserve it and threw a party for him.
God is a lot like the father in the story and we are like the son. God forgives us and loves us so much even though we don't always deserve it!
