A Wonderful Visit Day

We did other things today, but the most important part of our day was after nap.
Mrs. Medrano visited!
She arrived while some children were still napping,
so first she visited with five children in Mrs. Horn's room.
For a little while they were just speechless.
They were definitely processing seeing their teacher with her baby.

After everyone was awake and cots put away, we asked Mrs. Medrano the questions we had about Mason. We know he:

  • has rattles and books.
  • likes his bath.
  • eats about six times a day.
  • still sleeps a lot because he is growing so fast.
  • likes having his daddy give him a bottle.

The children made a book for her with advice for how to take care of baby Mason.
We shared that with her.

She even opened some gifts!

It was great to see her and baby Mason!

Other highlights from our day

Morning construction
A building with a big, large chimney

These guys love the challenge of a puzzle.

We put on our coats in walk over to the commons.
The boys played for awhile at one of the window seats.
You'll need to ask them what they were playing.

During center time, the doctor play was very popular again. The doctors treated many patients today.

Mrs. Cruz even received treatment.

The rain continued, so we went to the gym.
They loved playing with the basketballs and hula hoops.

Our story today, Katie Goes to the Doctor, told us about what happens when we need to visit the doctor because we are sick.

During Jesus time, we re-read Surprise, Surprise, which tells about Peter being freed from jail by an angel. That was definitely a surprising experience.
