Butterflies and Pentecost

Our plants are growing!
It's probably time for the beans be planted outside.

 Since it rained this morning,
we went to the Commons for our gross motor time.
This one is a hoola hoop expert!

When we returned to the room, we moved and danced to "Cat Party" and "Get Yo Body Movin'."
We are now at 8 of 10 songs before we move up a level. Our current champ is Plunky Robinson.

Whenever we notice the growing beans, we think of Jack and the Beanstalk. Our book today was a fun version of that fairy tale, Jack and the Jelly Bean Stalk

During centers, the last two portraits were completed. The children's amazing portraits will be tuck in their portfolio.

Around the room the children were so busy!
They were building water machines, coloring, painting, creating, and playing Jenga.

Their blob painting butterflies are almost completed and are being hung in the hallway.

The Bible story this week is Pentecost. Mrs. Lohman told the story using some fun props.

We were grateful the rain stopped and we were able to enjoy some time outside.
