Anticipating Pentecost

As the children arrive, they quickly signed their name and began their search for a morning activity.
This morning their choices included magna tile building, preparing food in the kitchen, and cutting play dough.

The creation station was also bustling as children cut out flames, created their own butterflies, and folded paper into baskets.

When we arrived at chapel, we noticed the red paraments in the chancel.
Mrs. Stuhr led chapel. She talked about growing in our knowledge of Jesus through worship and learning about His word. One of the members of our class received her Baptismal remembrance gift.

Our new project during centers was a cooperative circle painting project.
Many children added circles to our collage. For our first experience they did an awesome job!

While children were painting, others were creating in other parts of the room.
