Week of the Young Child - Thankful Thursday

And Favorite Color Day

Here are our favorite colors.
RED

BLUE

GREEN

PINK AND WHITE

PURPLE

I like every color!

Our morning began with chapel at 8:10.
We celebrated Jesus' ascension and the baptism of a student at Zion.
What an awesome worship!

After worship, we enjoyed playing outside and just being with our friends.

Our next stop was Miss Kirby's room.
Mrs. Haun talked to us about what things need to grow. We learned about what a bulb needs to grow. Later, in our classroom everyone planted a bulb. We will keep them here and observe what happens to them since they have water and sunlight.

A Few Center Time Highlights

Releasing our Butterflies
The first butterfly out had only five legs and was missing an antenna.
We placed it on the tree trunk.
Three of the butterflies flew away quickly. They were ready to find fresh nectar.
The fifth butterfly emerged from its chrysalis, but wasn't fully developed.
It died last night. We were able to touch this one and look at it closely.

On thankful Thursday,
we are mostly thankful for our families, food, our school, and friends.
