We spotted a pigeon on our way to chapel.
Our "The rock was rolled away. Hooray, Easter Day!" cheer
was part of our chapel message today.
After chapel, we read books before our calendar time and snack.
During centers, the children painted butterflies for our Easter bulletin board.
They worked very carefully as they dipped the brush in water and then in the paint.
Modeling play dough provides the children
with excellent fine motor skill practice.
They are loving the new kitchen materials.
All the children are telling me their version of the Easter story. They are definitely watching intently as I record their words.
Today the magna tiles builders made many tall towers.

During circle time, the children shared what they know about babies.
They know we have to be very careful with them.
