Spring - From caterpillars to chrysalis

Welcome back from our Spring break weekend!

We enjoyed sharing a highlight from the weekend with one another during our calendar time. It sounded like everyone had a wonderful time enjoying the beautiful weather.

We continued to enjoy the blue sky today!

Mrs. Lohman assembled the butterfly garden.

Everyone watched intently during the assembly.

Mrs. Lohman carefully removing the chrysalises from their caterpillar habitat to their butterfly habitat. One of the didn't attached to the lid to it was gently placed on a paper towel.

Our bean seeds are growing. We pulled out one of the plants and noticed its very long root. The basil hasn't changed much.

Today some of the children completed their final cutting assessment for their portfolios. They work so hard during these activities.

During Jesus time, Mrs. Lohman told the story of Jesus appearing to the disciples at the Sea of Galilee following his resurrection.
