Spring - The trees have leaves!

Today's highlights are in words and pictures, since a number of photo moments were missed.

• For our morning activity, the children estimated how many jelly beans were in the jar. Ask them if they remember their estimate and the actual number.

• Outside time was a favorite activity for the day. We are loving the warm weather with no coats.

• When outside, we noticed the leaves on the trees and some beautiful flowers.

 

• After snack, we thought of words that begin with "s" and "r."

• Mrs. Lohman read Glasswings: A Butterfly's Story, by Elisa Kleven. 

• Our center time was filled with creating and imaginative play.

• They began their documentation of the Life Cycle of a Butterfly.

• During Jesus time, we retold the story of disciples' walk on the road to Emmaus and sang and moved to the song, "It's a Great Day!"
