Here we are on Monday after the feast singing the "Turkey Pokey"!

We started the day off Tuesday making an I am Thankful Mural!
We had some fun in the commons before the Feast.
Getting ready to watch "The Charlie Brown Thanksgiving Movie" in the fellowship hall.
We all sat very nicely through the movie viewing it with smiles and giggles!
After the movie it was time for the yummy feast.
We had the same foods Charlie Brown and his friends had during their feast.
It was a FUN and SPECIAL day... Thank you to all the parents helpers who donated foods and helped today and yesterday. We couldn't have done it without you!
When we got back from the feast We read, "The First Thanksgiving" and then got out some extra wiggles singing, "The Turkey Pokey".
Ask your child to sing the song for you. They love it and its super CUTE! It's to the tune of the Hokey Pokey but we use our wings(arms), drumsticks(legs), stuffing(tummy), head and tail feathers(bottoms) for actions throughout the song!

We also played a yes, please and no, thank you Thanksgiving Food Game at centers. We then drew our favorite food on our paper plate.
Looking at our Thanksgiving recipes in dramatic play area to cook a Thanksgiving Dinner.
We named different blessings in our lives.
Here we are again with our favorite Thanksgiving food plates.
We talked about all the blessings in our lives. We specifically focused on how food is a blessing in our life from God. We thanked him for all the different foods we like to eat.
