At morning message we participated in some stretches to start the day. Here we are all doing our morning stretch while counting to 20!
Chapel this morning
During chapel we learned about the special blessings in our lives. I shared some blessings that I am thankful for and we all thanked God for the all our blessings in our lives.
We were reminded that Jesus is the most special blessing God gives us. Thank You God for Jesus!
After chapel we did some running, skipping, galloping and walking on the soccer field.
Snack Time
Our meteorologist predicted a sunny and windy day.
Our calendar helper leading us in counting the 12 days of November.
At circle time we talked about free safety rules and our fire safety plan in our classroom!
We then practiced our fire safety drill and found our safe spot outside!
Don't forget to talk with your child about your family's fire safety plan at home also.
After practicing our fire safety drill we went on a fire safety hunt through the whole school.
We looked for fire extinguishers and fire alarms.
We also pointed out all the exit signs.
Look there is a fire sprinkler...this sprinkler helps put a fire out.
We pointed out the fire sprinklers in the kitchen too!
I was very proud of all my friends. They all were rock stars in the hall and super quiet!
We then went outside to look for fire hydrants!
We took a rest on a bench after our fire safety hunt and sang Hurry, Hurry Drive the Fire truck!
Ask your child to sing the song for you. They might pretend to climb a ladder, ring a fire bell, spray the fire hose during this song.
