Firefighters:Thursday

This morning we pretended to drive on a fire truck and put fires out with our fire hoses.

Working together at the light table
Drawing with stencils at morning free play.

Our morning message reminded us that firefighters help to keep us safe.

Enjoying our outside time before the rain!

Our calendar helper leading us in counting the 5 days of November.
Our meteorologist predicted a rainy day!

At circle time we took turns climbing a ladder to rescue different letters!

Hurr, Hurry climb the ladder....rescue the letter ___!

Each friend rescued a different letter.

At centers we worked on, "I am Thankful" Placemats . We identified different things we are thankful for with the pictures we colored yesterday. Ask your child about the different things they are thankful for! We are really going to focus on blessings and being thankful during the month of November.

We also continued to drive our fire truck and put out fires in dramatic play.

At Jesus time we talked about the 10 commandments.
We specifically focused on the fourth, fifth and sixth commandment!
We discussed that the fourth commandment tells us to honor our father and mother, the fifth commandment says to not hurt one another,  and the sixth commandment reminds us have respectful relationships with one another.
