Today we had chapel. We all placed our canned goods at the front of the church to share with Concordia Seminary.
Zion's student council led chapel and reminded us to Thank God and focus on the Good God provides in our life.
Our morning message talked about how it is good to give thanks for our families!
At circle we had a science experiment. We made corn hop in a cup using only water, corn, baking soda and white vinegar.
We moved our arms up and down when the corn in the cup went up and down. We has so much fun watching this science experiment.
At centers we made Thankful Turkeys and shared some of the things in our life we are thankful for!
We also worked on cutting with scissors at centers!
Making dinner for friends
At Jesus time we talked about how God blesses us with families and why we love our families.
We also received sea shells from my trip to Texas and the beach. I talked about how I was thankful for my family and before we received a seashell we shared something special about our family.
