At morning message we talked about how it is Spirit day at Zion and reasons we love our school!
Ask your child why they like school? Some of the answers were very sweet. Answers included because we learn about Jesus, we love our friends and teachers, etc...

We had a hot chocolate circle time. We first were asked what we thought we needed to make hot chocolate. Check out what each friend said.
We then watched the hot chocolate song from the Polar Express!
We loved watching and listening to the song...Check out those giggles: )
After the song we looked at a recipe of how to make hot chocolate. We worked together to make a glass of hot chocolate step by step before making our own.
Ask your child to explain to you what a recipe is? We had a conversation about how a recipe gives us directions on how to make a food or drink: )
Then it was time to make our own hot chocolate!
We loved drinking our yummy hot chocolate: )
