We had a special guest, Rev. Eisold lead chapel this morning! We all did a great job... I think we were all proud to be able to attend chapel with the older kids in the school :)

At circle we read,
Footprints in the Snow. After the story we took turns feeling our cold snow mixture and making a print in the "snow" like the animals in the story.
We finished talking about what we would put in our own mittens at centers.
We also continued to work on our cutting skills while making our take home Mitten Activity.

The Mitten By Jan Brett with your child and then use the character cards to retell the story. Talk about the different names of the animals and discuss why the animals wanted to go in the mitten.
