All About Me- Thursday

We had another GREAT day. At morning meeting we found our morning message. We read the message with our message microphone. Today our message read, "God wants us to be kind to one another!". We then decided our goal for the day should be to be a kind friend !

Train Table fun at morning free play.
Reading in the library with our reading buddies and pointers.

Working on writing letters on chalkboards at the writing center.
Building dinosaur housed together in the block area.

Exploring discovery bottles in the Science Center

                                                                       Outside Fun

At circle time we read, The Kissing Hand. Ask your child to show you what the kissing hand is( They will kiss the palm of their hand and put it to their cheek). The Kissing Hand helped Chester on his first day of school from missing his mom. The Kissing Hand reminded him that his                                                      moms's love is with him wherever he goes.
After reading the story we talked about our own families and hung up our family pictures on our family tree. The tree is looking AWESOME! Keep sending your pictures in so we can fill our tree!

Cutting with scissors in the cutting pool at center time. We are working hard on developing                                                            those fine motor muscles!
Looking at ourselves in the mirror and drawing self portraits at Centers time.

At Jesus time we talked about how God wants us to be kind to one another. We then watched a video about "filling our buckets" and showing love with whoever we come in contact                                                               with.
After learning about how we can '"fill our buckets" with loving actions we brainstormed different behavior in the classroom that would "fill our own bucket"!
After talking we took turns individually sharing a good choice in the classroom that would fill our bucket. After we shared a good choice we were able to fill our own class bucket.
We had so many great suggestions of how we can be a kind, loving friend in the classroom that we FILLED our class bucket. Way to go friends!

We ended the day with dancing at music time!
