It was a FABULOUS first day in our classroom! All our friends did AWESOME :) We started the day off taking a school picture in the church with the WHOLE school. I have to say I was super PROUD of how patiently we waited and how pretty we looked for the camera.
After we took our school picture we had morning message. Our message was a special card labeled Mrs. Medrano's Class. The card wished us a Happy School Year and promised it was going to be a fun year full of hugs and laughter!
We then talked about the weather and decided it was a sunny and hot day outside!

We read Letters to God at Jesus Time. After the story we worked together to write a class letter to God. In the letter we wrote, "Dear God, Thank your for helping us have a FUN day at school and meeting new friends. "

It was a wonderful first day filled with smiles, laughter and kind friends. Can't wait for more FUN tomorrow!
