This morning we danced to Surfing USA on the carpet!
Our surfing dance moves were pretty impressive especially while wearing our tropical gear!!!!
Our morning message was, "Letters make sounds and words."
We enjoyed the beautiful weather outside this morning.
At circle we discovered all the letters from Chicka Chicka Boom Boom were missing.
We decided we had to work together and find them. We went on a class letter hunt.
Every time we found a letter we identified the letter and made the sound.
After we found all the letters we put them on our tree. We even created a couple sight words with the letters because we remembered letters together make words. During this activity the children are applying early reading skills and attending to sounds in language.
Writing the letter C during centers time with our handwriting with out tears printable. We were working with our younger kids on hold our writing object with proper pincer grip.
Searching for letters with the magnifying glass. We discovered the magnifying glass helps us find the tiny letter. After finding the letter we wrote the letter on separate sheet of paper.

At Jesus time we talked about how God rested on the 7th day because he saw all that he made was good.
We finished our class book and discovered there is always enough room for Mrs. Medrano's class on the coconut tree!
