At circle time we played, who "stole" the letter from the coconut tree?!
Each friend had the opportunity to "steal" a letter from the tree
After all my friends had the opportunity to snatch a letter they identified the letter and returned it to the coconut tree. I was very proud of how patient my friends were when taking their turn but also impressed on their letter recognition!
During this activity the students are using problem solving skills to figure out the mystery of who "stole" the letters from the tree. They are also developing self control while waiting their turn and taking initiative when finding and identifying the letter.

We played coconut tree bingo. Every friend who play this game found all the letters in the coconut tree. During this activity the children were listening and using receptive language.
We had a blast playing this game and got soo EXCITED when finding the letters!
At Jesus time we went on a creation hunt and found different animals that God made. After we found each animal we recited, "God created dogs, penguins, lions, etc and it was good." During this Jesus time we are celebrating the beauty of God's creation!
