Our monday morning message was God created the whole world.

We read Chicka Chicka Boom Boom at circle time. The children were assigned the job of reading Chicka Chicka Boom Boom every time it appeared in the book. They took their job seriously, by the end of the book we had some very excited children shouting CHICKA CHICKA BOOM BOOM!!!!
After reading the story we decided to make our own Class Book with coconut trees and our names.
When making this book we are using writing as a means of expression and communication. We are also applying early reading skills.
Stay tuned to find out if there is enough room for Mrs. Medrano's whole class on the coconut tree!
We also used magnetic letters to retell Chicka Chicka Boom Boom.
We are using symbolic development to represent our ideas in a variety of ways while retelling the story with our magnetic letters and props.

At Jesus time Zippy the puppet made an appearance and we had the opportunity to teach him all that God created. Here we are teaching Zippy that God created the sky.
God made the birds
God created everything out of nothing. God is so strong. No one on earth could build something so amazing.
On the seventh day God rested.
After creating the whole world God said it was GOOD! check out the thumbs up we gave Zippy to end the lesson.
