Today before going outside we made a class train and received letter tickets to reach our destination.
We had to identify the letter on our ticket before reaching our destination( outside)!

Our meteorologist for the day forecasted a sunny day!
I shared a special morning message at circle. I shared that I will be having a baby at the end of March!
The class was very excited about the baby news. We then guessed on if the baby was a girl or boy.
After guessing we pulled items from a gift bag for clues to reveal the baby gender.
And the clues revealed that the baby is a BOY!
The class clapped when they heard the news...it was a very sweet moment.

We continued exploring leaves with our leaf reports at centers time!
In the report we decided if the leaf was big, medium or small. We named the color and measured how many cubes long the leaf is. We also drew a picture of our leaf!

We drew My Creation Pictures about anything we wanted and then shared what our pictures were. This activity encourages symbolic development and early writing/drawing.
At Jesus time we told Joseph's story and discussed that he went through some sad times but as we went through the story we said a cheer encouraging Joseph. The cheer was, "Don't give up...God has a plan"!
We also reminded one another that when we all go through hard times to never give up because God has a plan for us too!
