We had chapel today!
Mrs. Rouland started the chapel with a sword and shield. She was also singing a Mighty Fortress!
Mrs. Rouland taught us about Martin Luther and Reformation day!
Our offering helper was super proud to bring our class offering to the altar.
After chapel it was Harvest Party Time! We started the party making oreo spiders!
Check out those spiders...I was impressed that most of my friends worked hard to create the spiders before eating the pretzels, skittles and oreos.
After snack we read books with our parent helpers!
At the party we made skeletons. We used q tips as our skeleton bones!
We also made a Shine Your Light Pumpkin Kite!
We had fun cutting a spider web in the sensory table. If you look closely you will find spiders in their webs.
Make sure to read the Shine your Light Poem on the back of your child's pumpkin kite!
We also tossed hula hoops on pumpkins!
We ended the party with a special movie on the smart board and fall dancing songs.
It was a fantastic day! Thank you so much to everyone who helped make Harvest Party #1 such a fun day for the kids. Looking forward to Harvest Party #2 tomorrow :)
