Fall: Week 2- Monday

We enjoyed the super sunny morning outside today!

Today at morning message we talked about us having a short week( only 3 days) for Fall Break this week.
Our calendar helper and meteorologist for the day!

Today at circle we worked on drawing leaves on a tree while using positional words.

We drew leaves in the tree...
                                                                        above the tree,
                                                                        beside the tree,
                                                                      under the tree
                                                                and in between the trees.
Each friend drew their leaf like a diamond, oval, circle or square.

After drawing the leaves on the smart board we sang the leaves are falling down song using the positional words and acting out what each word meant as the leaves fell from our bodies.

We decided to get silly during the song and put the leaves on our different body parts also!

Working on our scissor skills as we cut in the cutting pool!
We built and wrote the letter E's at centers time!

We also are making our own Fall book discussing our favorite things about fall.

At Jesus time we learned about Baby Moses and how his sister and mother put him in a basket in the river to protect him from Pharaoh.
Pharaoh daughter found Moses and asked Moses' sister and mother to help raise him until he got older.
Moses' mother and sister were thrilled they were able to keep Moses safe from mean Pharaoh . When Moses grew older he would live with the Princess. God had big plans in store for Moses. We will learn more through the week!
We  also talked about how God keeps us safe and has big plans for all of us too!
