Pumpkins: Tuesday

Our morning message today stated a fact about pumpkins. We learned that pumpkins are a fruit.
Our Alphabet Helper leading us in the alphabet and letter sounds song. We sang the letter sounds song in a silly opera voice!

Having FUN outside on this beautiful day with friends!

Our calendar helper leading us in counting the 20 days of October!
Our meteorologist predicted a partly cloudy day.
We read Five Little Pumpkins and then took turns acting out the story with our pumpkin masks.

We improvised and acted out Six Little Pumpkins with our last group.
Painting pumpkin masks at centers time.

Working on counting one to one and writing numbers with our play dough pumpkin masks.

We worked on our scissor skills today! Some of us are really growing with using their fine motor muscles when cutting. Way to Go, Friends: )

Selling pumpkins at our pumpkin patch.

                                                        Relaxing in the Reading Area.

Don't we look great wearing our pumpkin masks! We will use these pictures for a fun pumpkin bulletin board.

At Jesus Time we learned about Moses leading the Israelites across the Red Sea.
When the Israelites were scared Moses reminded them to not be afraid because God was with them.
We each took a turn walking through the "Red Sea". Before we walked through the path that God provided for the Israelites to walk safely through the sea we recited the , "Fear Not, Do Not Be Afraid. God is with us!"

After Jesus time we left the carpet with a partner holding hands!
