Farm: Week 2- Wednesday

Our morning message today read, " Today is the First Day of Fall and Brendan's Birthday!"

Our friend leading us in the alphabet and letter sounds song.

Excited to visit God's House and partake in chapel.

Mrs. Stanglein led chapel today and talked to us about saying sorry and asking for forgiveness.

Our offering helper walking to share our class chapel offering.

We celebrated a birthday today. Happy 5th Birthday, Brendan! Thanks for sharing the yummy birthday treats.

Our calendar helper counting the 23 days of September.
Our meteorologist said the weather was going to be hot and sunny. Our class decided that a little cooler weather would be nice soon since it is fall now!
We read Little Red Hen and talked about the importance of helping one another.

Have a conversation  with your child about ways they can be helpful at school and home.

At centers we played with the big red barns we painted yesterday!

We really had fun pretending to be farm animals and crawl through one of our barns!

We enjoyed playing farm bingo again today. This activity is a fun and helpful way to build our vocabulary. Play a mystery farm animal game with your child tonight. Give them three clues about the farm animal and have them guess the animal you are describing. For example clues for a pig could include: This animal is pink, likes to play in the mud, and has a curly tail.

We also were asked if we would help the Little Red Hen and why or why not. Ask your child what how they answered.
After talking about helping the Little Red Hen we painted our hand red to make Little Red Hen handprints. We are going to hang these up in the hallway when we finish them tomorrow so be on the lookout at drop off the next few days.

Working together to build a tower. Check out those excited faces... the tower is about to tumble down.

Identifying little letters with magnifying glasses in the writing area.

We sang a marching song about Abraham and Sarah waiting patiently for God's promise to occur.

Hip, Hip Hooray for God's Promises!
